I agree with IMStill4Travel: if a free breakfast is enough of a big deal to be a deciding factor, then your priorities are on a planet far, far removed from the one on which I dwell.

This goes triple in Paris, where a fantastic breakfast is available at any bar: a coffee (or a grand café crème if you like it that way) and a croissant, which is far better than any hotel breakfast.
