My husband and I travel a lot but as we're getting older we're finding that our lower backs and thighs ache terribly on longer flights. We recently bought foot hammocks (Ohderii Portable Travel Footrest Hammock) which attach to the seat back tray table in order to help alleviate this issue. When purchasing I simply read the reviews on Amazon and didn't think twice about it, but when checking in for my flight there was a notice about not using devices that attach to the plane. I know that Knee Defenders are not allowed by Westjet, but does anyone have experience with this type of device and whether it is allowed? It will not impede the person in front from reclining.
