I flew SQ in J across the Pacific yesterday. No US-based airline's F service comes close in any aspect except seat comfort. SQ in J is better than any US-based airline in F with regard to food, politeness, helpfulness, inflight entertainment system, cleanliness, curtains, freedom to move about the cabin. Some people might find AA's (or UA's) F seat more comfortable than SQ's J seat.
