I forgot to mention that I already have United and Star Alliance club lounge access via my Chase United Club card. Insofar as bumping my PQM, would paying out of my own pocket to upgrade to United First class when flying for business help me hit the 8,000 PQM mark or are the number of miles you earn from flying United First not going to make a big difference?
