I was reading a post on an airline safety website (the Aviation Herald) which highlighted, about the GATx series of aircraft:
‘This Gatwick fleet of 320s has been costly to BA, ex South American aircraft with mass corrosion issues, forced to take on after IAG purchased Iberia and came as part of the deal, one had the entire cockpit window framing and upper roof section replaced, systems will be in the same state as the airframes’.
Wonder how much of that is truth or speculation.
