US passport control for a family with UK/ US passports
HI everyone. My first post (though I must have read a thousand...) so please excuse any newbie mistakes.
Our family all have UK passports but one child has US passport (he was born in the US while we lived there). I know he needs to enter the US on US passport etc, which is fine. Last time we were in the US as a family (two years ago) the ESTA traveller kiosks had not been activated so we were guided through the US citizen line (thanks to our child being a US citizen and (as he was only 7) he could not go through alone). Now that the ESTA kiosks are active (the rest of us are all returning ESTA), any suggestions on whether we should all go through the ESTA kiosk line or US citizen line? I presume it's ESTA line as otherwise the rest of us can't get the paper slips to show to the customs agent? I travel to the US (for work) every month but as I'm travelling alone I haven't had to think about the family passport control logistics on those trips. All help appreciated.
