Actually, I just had the case yesterday, needed a CDG-NBO / NBO-DXB-CDG with a 24h layover in DXB (22h to be precise). Found ideal routing on Skyscanner, went on AF with multi-destination, where it was priced ca. 2900 EUR in Y (vs 800 on whatever website was listed on Skyscanner). Had them over Twitter, explained routing needed & pricepoint, and within 30 min they found my routing, & priced it at 909 EUR (which is only fair for a refundable/changeable ticket vs the 800 EUR asked), called me & I paid over the phone. So my reco is have them on Social Media or over the phone & they should be able to help you out. Note: being AF Plat may have help the cause.
