Here's one for those in the know. I lost my Gold card which is now recently being called by a different name.
I lost it somewhere in the house I'm sure but now after 2 months still cannot find it.
My question is if I report it lost and request a new card I am assuming it will be a new card with a different number and trigger the 24 month clock which I want to avoid. (correct ?)
I do not want to outright just cancel it as I had it close to 25 years and it helps my FICO.
