I opted for 18F which is a bulkhead private middle seat. There are some other middle seats further up the plane as well as the "bad" window seats. Is this likely the best seat option available to me assuming nothing better opens up?
I'd probably take a middle seat further up in order to get away from the lav area.

They are not supposed to be. There's a curtain separating C from PY.
