Just to note for others who haven't been to this area, I personally wouldn't even include restaurants in my decision. Both hotels are on a long street that has almost nothing but restaurants and bars for probably a couple miles. And there are some pretty good ones, such as Cocina Abierta, at lower-that-hotel-restaurant prices, which is right across the street from the Stellaris.

I don't think either hotel is a bad choice.
