The question is not whether the connection is doable, it is whether it is sensible, It is 24 minutes above MCT, so it is doable. But, is it sensible? That depends on the consequences of a misconnect. Not only does a nonstop reroute mean waiting at least 24 hours, but there is no assurance that there is space on the next flight and there is no assurance that any reroute with space has decent seats.

Will a GA slam a door in your face on a 1x/daily flight? Not likely. But, DL typically does not hold aircraft absent very good reasons and even then, if your flight is overbooked and at risk of oversale, your seats will have been given away at the T-30 deadline.

Going in the opposite direction, with multiple alternatives, I would not worry. But, for a lengthy flight where comfort matters, I would allow at least 2 hours or more as a matter of "sensibility." Wait until the next schedule change -- there will be one -- and then call DL and grab the next earlier flight.
