Question is, how do I link these? Can GS handle or at least be made aware in case the connection is tight so I can get assistance? In the event that the NRT flight is delayed, they could easily pull another aircraft and then I'd be SOL. Also, in the event of major IRROPS, I could get rerouted out of NRT to AMS if they are linked.

thanks!

If you're on UA20 you are correct that flight is often the NRT-IAH inbound. But it can also be the LHR or the AMS so don't count on it. You will have to clear customs.
