My week long stay here was overall fine. Reserved a grand suite on cash and that was what I got, on a relatively low floor. Nobody reached out prior to arrival. No welcome amenity. 4pm checkout confirmed at checkin. Car service was hit and miss. No chromecast. Housekeeping was unpredictably timed--some days early, some days real late, one day nobody came. Special requests for the room were delivered promptly. Room quality and property was overall in good shape. I like the area of town - lots of good bites, Kroger nearby, movies and malls within walking distance, Marta is just a couple blocks away. Casual interactions with staff always polite.
Lounge is closed Sunday night and Monday morning for food service but is always open for grabbing drinks and often snacks are left out. Breakfast offerings okay but no hot food really outside of maybe an egg quiche on random days, or maybe waffles on an odd day, and the oatmeal. Monday breakfast is the buffet at the restaurant Cassis which is the lounge food plus scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and waffles. Evening offerings are okay, sort of average based on my experiences. Canvass Wine was 6 bucks a glass and the lounge attendant poured it, so no generous self serving here. The lounge was fairly quiet minus two days when a conference booked out the hotel for a few days and the lounge was packed and impossible to find a seat in.
The pool is very large which was very nice, though outdoors so it is seasonal. The gym was larger than average and bathrooms had lockers and saunas.
So, I have no trepidation about returning and had a pleasant stay, but, there is room for improvement with regards to lounge food and going that extra effort for recognizing globalists.
