Since Chase is going to refund the difference to your credit card, that's the end of the matter. And sometimes you're faced with an agent who is incorrect but won't budge, and your choice is either pay what they're demanding or your bag doesn't fly...in which case documenting and then disputing with the airline and then your credit card after the fact, is about all you can do.
