LHR Border and Reclaim ... very variable quantity!

LHR Reclaim to Bus Stops ... max 10mins, possibly 5
LGW Bus Stops to Bag-Drop ... max 10mins, nearer 5
LGW Bag Drop ... 5 mins max if Gold or Club, possibly 10-15 otherwise
LGW BA Desks to Airside ... ~10-15mins unless using Premium Gatwick (~5 mins)
LGW Airside to Gate ... ~5-10, depending on Gate

I note my latest (PHX18) TR had us taking 40 minutes from docking to the LHR bus stop, involving a CTA border with e-passport and waiting for bags, and 30 minutes from the LGW Bus stop to Gate 4, using First bag-drop and Premium Gatwick security.

You can see how that 1-hour Bus journey gets padded at both ends to make the 3 hour MCT quite ‘interesting’. These days we allow 4 hours for peace of mind and slower pulse-rate!

PS: We always pay for Flex tickets on NEx, then you can jump on ANY bus LHR-LGW. Helpful if you are either early or late to the Bus Stops!
