I was wearing silk skirt. One layer of silk fabric, and my panties. I got selected for secondary because I refused to remove my shoes, even though the shoes did not set off the magnetometer. Usually, in secondary, there's a wanding in T position only. But this morning, it was a wanding in T position and then the strange request: put one foot in front of the other. The screener pushed the wand into the space created between my legs and touched my genital area, gently, but clearly contacting parts of my body that only my husband should touch. I nearly vomited. The screener forced me to put the other leg in front, and then she did it again.

There is absolutely no excuse for this. I handed a complaint report to the TSA desk behind the screening area and have since called the TSA, sent an email complaint, and am composing a letter to my congressional representatives demanding that the TSA be disbanded immediately. How much more will we endure before we take action against this band of thugs which terrorizes us daily?
don't let anyone disuade you from believing that this was a sexual assault and that you should pursue it. I have been "traditionally" raped before, and I recently was sexually assaulted at O'Hare airport. I'm not filing a report yet. I'm contacting the aclu, whom I hope can help me with attorneys, etc. and don't forget Hillary Rodham Clinton was on that homeland security committee and given her visibility, she could be a good friend. And don't forget civil court. This is wrong. All of it. A frumpy housewife with shorts, tennis shoes and socks, a toddler in a stroller - they don't have professionals on the job; they have the dissenfranchised who have found their niche to get power. Brutes. And if we don't fight now, we won't have anything left. And it is mostly women who are being targeted, and of course minorities. My husband is black but he hardly looks like a muslim-NOT advocating the search of every muslim. But the obvious should go unharmed. hotintexas
