Since your GE KTN will be valid longer, go ahead and update your profile. This way you don't have to remember to do it before your PreCheck one expires. (You wont be renewing it since you get Pre via GE) As for current reservations, either works till the Pre expires, then only the GE one. No need to update them to GE.
