It was certainly not heated to even 25c. They have two pools side by side. One is a huge pool which is not meant to be heated and the other a smaller pool. Both the pools were the exact same temperature. The smaller pool was the one that was meant to be heated. If it were heated even slightly we would have felt the difference.
It wasn't just us complaining but the other guests too. The weather was around 25c when we were there and when you jumped into the pool you couldn't stay in it longer then a couple of minutes.
The main reason I chose this hotel was the heated pool.
TBH the hotel was good and the staff were excellent, I have no complaints about them. Their customer service levels were great. I guess it the higher management/owners who decided not heat the pool as it was the start of summer and if we had some decent weather then the pool would heated up on its own.
When I pay $100 for a room and there are issues you look past them but this was a resort that caters to kids and they charge a silly amount of money to provide that service.
Another point I would like to make is that I brought this up 3-4 times while in the resort and no one once got back to me. The managers on duty each time were very apologetic and said they would look into it. Think they were just trying to acknowledge the complaint but couldn't do anything about it. If the owners decide to not heat the pool then there isn't much a manager can do other then listen and say they will look into it.
I really don't want to put anyone off this hotel as other then this it was a great stay. But for us living in a cold country a pool is something the kids look forward to.
