We checks in this afternoon and we’re told that there are no suite upgrades available for Diamond members, just an upgrade to a “premium” room on a higher floor. The rooom is nice, with a view of the city and a huge bathroom. The Executive Lounge shuts down food and alcohol (even beers) at 7:30 pm which I thought was unusual. They also wouldn’t let our son in there unless we paid for him, even though he’s not drinking. Breakfast is fre for 2 people, $30 for the third even when we booked a triple room. And there’s no stuffed panda, but I will ask again tomorrow. Overall it’s a nice hotel, maybe I was spoiled by our stay at the Hilton Tokyo but they seem to be cutting corners.
