Just wondering what other FT'ers would do in this situation? I spent a lot of money on a family vacation at a Marriott in May end. We knew the weather wasn't going to be very hot so made sure we booked a hotel that had a heated pool. However they did not heat their pool and the kids hardly swam at all. Our ideal holiday is kids in the pool so we can relax. The main pool was freezing and the smaller heated pool was the same temp. We spoke to a the manager in charge a few times and she said they would get back to us which they never did.

I got back and emailed Marriott to look into it and they forwarded it to the hotel who have replied that the pool was heated to 25c. We know it wasn't as everyone complained about how cold the water was.

I am quite disappointed as we spent roughly $600 a night for the room alone.
