I have a but of a unique situation id say.. requested a cash upgrade at the RC Boston for an upcoming 5 night stay. The stay itself is master-billed to the company I'm working for, RC has however agreed to separate the portfolio since I have to cover for the upgrade fee by myself. Would I technically qualify to earn points on the portion I cover myself? Same for elite nights? The stay ends August 16 so just missed the new program start where any eligible charges can qualify
Also, they have offered 2 upgrade options:
1) Club level deluxe room
2) Executive Suite (not club)
Both for the same nightly rate of $125/night... which would be more worth it?
