Generally I don't tell them at booking so check in is fine then at the airport simply let them know and they will reissue your BP.

YMMV but sometimes I do it at the gate. I don't think technically we should get past TSA without some notation on BP but using Clear it has never been an issue.

You should also carry some proof of age. Passport or Birth Certificate.
