I do not find the GA announcements to be annoying, especially as I do not hear for every flight. In fact, I have heard it once this year.
I would be happy just to hear the announcements. Half the time they are unintelligible. "Now boarding zone *mumble*"
But to be fair, other then the order of boarding spiel, the gate check spiel is probably the only other one I can almost recit from memory.
