I'm considering doing PHX - MIA - CDG in a few months as their is an SWU available for MIA - CDG. Looks like both my flights will land and depart out of D. Being that this is domestic to international this is just a normal walk from one gate to the next transit, correct? There is a little over a 2 hour layover which is about the max I like to risk on a layover before an international fight. MCT says 45 min. It's been a while since I've been to Miami but any concerns or funny stuff I should know of?
Yup, connecting domestic to international is just a normal connection, get off your flight and walk to the next gate. 2 hrs is plenty in MIA for this, everything is walkable but there is an airside train above that may be quicker depending on what gate you come and go from.
