Cool, I'll give that a shot today after work, I wasn't sure if the hotel directly could actually do anything with this reservation, but I DO have a Hilton confirmation number now and it DOES show up in the Hilton system...


About the MR points vs the extra day just blown if I decide getting a refund isn't worth it. I'll have to run the numbers more, it's really just pushing me over the limit to redeem for a round trip domestic F flight FOR this trip, so... it would be money out of pocket either way and might actually be cheaper this way vs buying enough miles to cover the difference. I'll have to really crunch the numbers and probably pull the trigger on the flight. I never keep many MR points in my account since most my spend is with CSR, but somehow the last couple summers I've been able to pick up enough bonus points that I'm just close enough for round trip in F via MR transfer that I find myself scrambling around this time to be able to have enough for my fall travel. Same thing happened last year where it just was too good of a deal (10k or 15k bonus or something) to NOT put it on the Amex and it covered my ~$700 airfare :P
