That was following the fare rules. Did you consider her rude just because she applied the fare rules? You got a standard exemption the first time. That doesn't mean they will keep changing the ticket without fees.
What do you mean "another" cancellation fee. Did you pay a fee the first time, when you told them your mother died? There was only one fee indicated in the original post
