I have an Icelandair flight out of EWR, which due to some unfortunate circumstances I ended up with a very tight connection with separate flights. Now Icelandair made it even harder with a schedule change moving their flight 15min earlier, which gives me even less than the 1h 15min EWR D-I MCT.

I asked them about cancelling/refunding but they said won't do it for schedule changes under 2 hours. I fully understand that the original tight connection was my own problem and if I had missed the original scheduled time it would have been my own fault. However I didn't find any policy in their CoC about not offering a cancellation in case of a smaller schedule change.

Do I have any recourse here in terms of a more formal complaint or should just accept the situation?
