Yea, I get why they do it. But surely less of an issue way into the future.
Meanwhile, they still allow us to cancel a flight 10 minutes before departure which means they can not sell that seat to anyone else prior to that. And, I just read, a no show with a points booking returns the points even though the passenger never bothered to cancel. That seems real silly.
