This is meant in good will but may come off arrogantly. OP - are you truly booking this as one ticket - I tried a bunch of random dates and nowhere is AA.com offering me LX connections. Given they are in different alliances it also seems unlikely.

I know it’s theoretically possible to plate LX flights on AA stock but it would also probably be very expensive. Maybe I’m missing something but seems there is a risk of mis-understanding here that could have serious consequences.

Not trying to be critical but OP did nominate they are not experienced.
