Right, I specifically picked a refundable rate (that was more expensive then the lowest prepaid rate) but I was told here by everyone that any hotel booked on AmexTravel is charged to the Amex card right away, thus it would trigger the bonus points offer even though my stay wouldn't be for a couple months. I was really hoping I wouldn't end up being in an issue like this where my dates slightly shifted. I think I'm good on not losing out on any money and will be able to get my stay adjusted to what it needs to be, but now the 10k MR offer is totally on the line and I'm seeing if I can work magic to keep that around...
