Yep I see your point , unfortunately we don't live in a perfect world where everyone behaves, I saw a guy help himself to a mouthful of pasta from the serving spoon in the Hilton Brussels executive lounge ( he got ejected! ) but then I've also sat in Hilton Canary Wharf lounge and watched kids sticking their fingers in the clotted cream and licking them , parents quaffing wine in the corner.
There is another issue, children get bored in lounges, it isn't much fun for them to sit there and behave, of course they want to explore and have fun.... its natural ......I have two grandchildren and I wouldn't take them into a lounge as I don't think it's fair on the other guests trying to work or relax.
