My family traveled from DFW to Hyd with AA and Etihad. We bought tickets using Chase UR points. Our confirmation itinerary says, $100 for 2nd checked in bag and 1st one is free. While travelling to DFW to HYD, we did not check in 2nd bag. In our return journey to DFW, We are planning to check in 2nd bag. Now, Eithad is asking for $350 for 2nd baggage check in. On our confirmation itinerary $100 is mentioned in every leg of the journey.

I called AA 2 times. According to them, AA policy will apply. They should charge us $100 per 2nd bag. But Etihad customer support is telling us different thing ($350). how do we resolve this issue. Do i need to call Chase UR and file some kind of complaint. When we bought ticket, we factored in $100 and made this choice. Etihad policy allows 2 checked in bags for free. But they are applying some different policy in this case. Etihad customer support is not giving us much information.

Please help us.
