Good for New Yorkers, I guess, but the only practical way to connect from elsewhere on the East Coast is to take UA to EWR and Uber from there to JFK. By the time you factor in the transfer time and buffer for traffic and potential delays at EWR, you lose half of the day.
(NB: the schlep between the AA and JL terminals at JFK is almost as bad...)
There's also 111 ORD-HND that avoids the NYC transfer issues (Also if I were going EWR - JFK I'd take NJT and the LIRR rather than an Uber)
