I hope you are all well! Reaching out for some insight... We have reservations for EWR - NRT in September on UA... The other day, when I logged into my United account, I noticed that we had an opportunity for either, $1,200 on the leg heading to NRT or 60K United Miles for the entire reservation in United Polaris (round trip)... By the time I went back to get the miles transferred, the price skyrocketed over $6K or now 60K Miles + $1,200 (round trip).... we feel like we missed out on a chance of a lifetime to fly round trip in Polaris for 60K miles... also... point of information --- we got the round trip fare including a few days in Malaysia for under $700.

Are we ever going to get this offer again?

Is there a way we get the original offer placed back on the account?

Just trying to understand how this works. Thank you very much for your time and knowledge. It is invaluable.
