He has not been rebooked on a flight back to YPR. I tried to rebook him on the Air Canada online "Delayed and Canceled Flight Service" but it says "none of your flights have been canceled". Calling Air Canada has resulted in long hold times, being transferred to different lines, and not getting any help. The Air Canada flight tracker online says that the plane arrived as scheduled at YXT, which is BS, because the flight was not supposed to be to YXT, but to YPR. I believe that we are owed no compensation but my boy still is owed a free flight home. The other half is ready to give up and buy him a new ticket home. Any advice on fixing this problem would be appreciated.
The system is probably confused because the flight landed in YXT.

No one is going to deny your boy a flight home. The situation is nothing out if the ordinary so I wouldn't worry. Just call AC and they will handle, or ask an airport agent.

Don't rush, they may be rescheduling the flight or adding extra sections, so take your time with rebooting and if it's not satisfactory check again later.
