UA can't convert that. You'd need LH to do it. You can ask for more information on the LH forum, but, as a general approach, I'd call LH and explain that you wanted to use a United Airlines upgrade certificate, so ask if they could convert the flight to an LH code instead of the LX code.
Most people who ask about codeshares on this forum are talking about UA codes on 016 tickets, which are when you'd want to call UA.
