Thanks... this visual of the devaluation makes it pretty easy to understand... your 1500 Marriott Points is now only 1200. I just transferred over 84K on Saturday. 126K vs 101K - I would've lost 25K in the devaluation if I'd transferred later! Yikes!
Since website maintenance is starting on the Amex rewards site at 7pm EST on Wed the 25th - that means people should transfer by tomorrow. I wonder if they have this cutoff to make sure they can complete all the pending transfers by Aug 1?
