And as a counter point to the above, I had missed conformance by arriving at north security at just T-33 mins for a NCL domestic from A2 or something. Much ringing around by a very kind check-in agent got nowhere. I might add that in 12 years of business travel, it was the first time I've missed a flight too. Oh, and it was HBO, and Club Europe too.

In the end I coughed up the change fee for a later flight to NCL as it was simply my fault. (I had swept off my hearing aid in its pouch off the side table in my sleep and it fell neatly into a coiled cable on the floor, so without looking at it directly from above, its not obvious and took me well over 90 minutes to find it.... pouch now have a nice lynard on it).
