While I agree that HKG-KUL isn't exactly high-yield, I didn't notice any difference in the onboard service when it was still a CX route. AFAIK the service flow and meals were basically the same as HKG-SIN. If anything, I found the Malaysian FAs who were regulars on the route to be fantastic.
