Thanks for the tips. Specifically this is my situation:
- I have a Freedom and CSR
- My primary goal is to avoid CSR fee and to get the CSR again in a couple months for the 50K bonus again. I will be in the clear on 5/24 in September.
- My secondary goal is to not lose too much credit line.

Option 1 is to transfer to Freedom, cancel, get the CSR in September again, and transfer back to CSR. Chase would probably have no issue giving me a big CSR line since I would have closed my CSR previously and be way under what my line was before.

Option 2 is to transfer to Freedom, downgrade CSR to Freedom Unlimited, get the CSR in September again, and transfer UR back to CSR. However in this case, I am worried that they may reject my app due to having way too much credit line already tied up with the Freedom and Freedom Unlimited. Yes I know I can call them up and all that, but I really don't feel like dealing with the reconsideration line.

Thoughts?
