(B) Here's another angle ... let me know your (or anyone's) thoughts: I can reserve a Compact car using my Amex CDP for 11:30PM Sunday night (the night before I actually arrive), for 48 hours, at a low price. Is there anything likely to go wrong with reserving that car (with "Pay Later") and then on Sunday night calling and saying that I've delayed my trip and that I would like to pick the car up on Monday at 2:00PM, and still have it for 48 hours?
