Must be honest in the years that I have had an ESTA I have never had any issues travelling back and forth to the U.S., however this story made me flick through my e-mails and I have no record of my last successful ESTA application from earlier this year (once it is accepted I trust the system to communicate with whomever is asking), so is there any way to get your successful application resent to ones e-mail address?

If you haven’t figured it out yet, simply go onto the official website and retrieve your application using your passport number. I did this earlier this week and it worked well, unless you don’t have an existing ESTSblinked to the passport.
