It’s hardly my first rodeo but I still tend not to carry a paper ESTA copy because the pervasive attitude of “Computer decides your life! Computer says No! There is no appeal of the decision of The Computer!” discourages the idea that your own documentation has any use.

So the first post was a handy reminder that paper still has power and there is still a way to get a person to check your travel permission.
