Must be honest in the years that I have had an ESTA I have never had any issues travelling back and forth to the U.S., however this story made me flick through my e-mails and I have no record of my last successful ESTA application from earlier this year (once it is accepted I trust the system to communicate with whomever is asking), so is there any way to get your successful application resent to ones e-mail address?

I find it is best to login to the ESTA system on the DHS/CBP website, then save/print the page as a PDF. I have both the PDF and a screenshot of this page on my phone, for easy access should I need it. Only needed it once, as per my above situation in CDG where I was about to be offloaded but managed to avoid that
