I travel alone 99% of the time and get this option every time I check in on the app for a flight. It's a bit annoying because you have to make this selection for each segment, but I do appreciate it. With aisle/window only selected, I've had GA's call me up on a couple of occasions to verify that I did not want a C+ middle seat before the move down the list.
