Just completed a three night stay here and I thought it was great, especially if you're traveling with another couple or extended family and want the convenience of having two bedrooms and two bathrooms in the unit. The two bedroom apartment type units are huge in comparison to most hotel rooms. The kitchen and living room were spacious, there was a small combo washing machine/dryer that was perfect for doing a small load of underwear, socks, or quick dry type clothing. The indoor pool is heated, gym equipment is perfectly adequate. It's a very easy walk to the Bethnal Green tube station and an even shorter or just about the same walk to the Cambridge Heath overground station. Never felt unease walking around in the neighborhood. Yeah, there is perhaps a dearth of restaurants and things immediately around the hotel, but there's a market (Sainsbury iirc) at the corner of Bethnal Green and Cambridge Heath. Yes, the Central line tube is crowded at the rush hours but what mass transit system isn't. I would absolutely stay here again if we had another couple or extended family with us.
