Are you writing your response in another application and then copy/pasting it to FT? Try Clearing your cookies and pressing "CTRL/Apple" and Refresh the page a couple times and see if it continues.
Thanks IBJoel, yesterday I did create my post in notepad and the cut an paste it, then I tried to edit it directly.
I normally use firefox but this post now is from Edge and it doesn't seem to be adding in the message.
I will also try your suggestions and post another message here from firefox to see if problem has gone.
EDIT i am currently using a PC but I use a imac as well. It looks as though the problem is Firefox related as i don't think I am getting it with edge.
