I had assumed the converted certificates would have a per night points value.

Does the phrase, "up to the points value displayed," mean the certificate has a total value to be used instead? For example, if a certificate is worth 100,000 could I choose to use it for 3 nights at a 35k hotel or 2 nights at a 50k hotel?
