Note also that the "merger" of Marriott and Starwood has already occurred, so does the word "merger" here mean that we must first take the step of merging our accounts or can SNAs be used in Marriott (and presumably also RC) hotels at any time after the new combined program begins, presumably at some undetermined date in August?
