Heartily agree! I have often thought the same myself. I assume it is not a regulatory requirement since other airlines board those groups in different orders.
Agree too, though these folks also take disproportionate real estate in the boarding area and clearing them out before the lice creeps in is also probably not a bad idea in my view.
